Ashtanga Prep Class – Students are introduced to the breathing style and fundamentals of Ashtanga; a yoga practice developed by Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, India. Ashtanga is typically a dynamic, heat building practice that focuses on strength, concentration and flexibility. The Prep class is structured towards the experience and ability of the students who attend. We focus and study poses that require this attention and work towards moving through a flowing practice. – suitable for beginners
Ashtanga 1 – will build on the basics explored in Ashtanga Prep– a dynamic practice that improves cardiovascular fitness through Sun Salutations and standing poses, with emphasis on building heat and focus through the breath
Ashtanga 2 - An intermediate Ashtanga class – similar to Ashtanga 1, building greater stamina transitioning pose to pose, also integrating more advanced variations
and is not suitable for beginners.
Anusara Inspired Yoga -
Anusara Yoga is a powerful hatha yoga system that unifies a Tantric philosophy of intrinsic Goodness with Universal Principles of Alignment. Anusara Yoga's remarkable popularity is due in large part to its uplifting philosophy, epitomized by a "celebration of the heart," that looks for the good in all people and all things. Consequently, students of all levels of ability and yoga experience are honored for their unique differences, limitations, and talents. This life-affirming vision sets the basis for a yoga system in which the harmony and joy of a tightly knit community is exulted. Not only is Anusara Yoga an elegant system of alignment principles and non-dual philosophy, but it is also a wonderful community of highly trained teachers and fun-loving students.

Moksha 2 -
Level 2 is SO MUCH FUN! We build on the existing Moksha Yoga series of poses by adding more of a flow to the series, and add a LOT of downward dog flows in between. We also bring you through the more advanced variations of the Moksha poses, so that you can explore the depths of what the Level 1 classes have prepared you for.
It is highly recommended that you do at least 20 Moksha classes, and have a great degree of comfort with the downward dog flow before attempting a Level 2 class.
Moksha Silent - The silent class is the traditional Moksha Yoga series, practiced in silence. The class is guided, without verbal instruction, by an instructor practicing the series at the front of the room. The class allows the student to explore the depths of their own practice by providing an opportunity to investigate the sensations of the body and the breath more fully. It is a chance to really feel the practice without auditory distraction.
This class is best suited for students who are familiar with the series. The silent class at 8:30pm on
the last Wednesday of each month incorporates music and this class is best enjoyed if you're a little familiar with the regular Moksha series (even if you've only been to a couple of classes)
Moksha Silent with Music - The silently lead music class is guided (without verbal instruction) by a teacher who will also be practicing at the front of the room. Much like the silently lead class, students have the opportunity to really be their own guide in their own practice and perhaps take that practice to a deeper level. The added music creates an atmosphere that is both soothing and exhilarating at the same time. Some say the music helps them escape to a more meditative zone, thereby counterbalancing potential distractions - both outside the body and inside the mind. This class is best enjoyed if you're a little familiar with the regular Moksha series (even if you've only been to a couple of classes)
Restorative - postures in this class leave students feeling nourished and well rested. These postures are usually deeply supported by blankets, blocks, or other props and are held for several minutes at a time
Vinyasa - Vinyasa flow class -
meaning "flowing with breath", a challenging HOT yoga class with its roots in Ashtanga, often branching out into creative sequencing of postures and heat is not lowered. This class is not recommended for beginners.
Power Flow - A challenging and innovative flow class inspired by the Baptise Style and is not suitable for beginners – heat is slightly increased in the regular room.
Yoga Flow- Taught in the hot room at a reduced heat, this class flows from one posture to the next, challenging your strength, while working with your breath. Beginners welcome.
Yin - Gentle yoga class with long holds designed to strech through deeper muscle tissue and fascia. All poses are practiced on the floor. A great compliment to your regular practice. Suitable for all levels.
